Many have asked me-- No, my family and I aren't really big on the whole Christmas thing anymore. No real reason... We're usually about the family togetherness thing, and normally, I would have flown home around this time of year.

Mom's in Thailand for a few months, and tickets were way too expensive anyway.

So what did I do for the holiday?

I went to a few Christmas parties a few days before with Angie GoGo. I also spent Christmas at her place, lounging around, stuffing our faces, playing video games, and watching movies. It was nice. Low-key, and nice.

On actual Christmas, after finally getting off of our asses, we hit up our friend John's house for... yes, more food, and a little bit of wine.

I then retired back to my own apartment to spend time with Dravin.

That's basically it. There were a couple of intense days... very intense... I'm not going to get into detail here, but let's just say I'm glad I'm around for a certain friend, even if I am the only one who has any faith in him anymore.



P.S...... If you haven't seen "House of Flying Daggers" already... Do it. Do it NOW.

Recently, I sent out a mass email, asking for the chainmail/forwards to stop being sent to me.

There's nothing I hate more to have my Inbox completely flooded with 25 forwards that I honestly couldn't care less about.

You're not going to die in 7 days if you don't send this.
You're not going to have 5 years of bad luck if you don't send that.
It doesn't mean that you don't really care (and it doesn't make you any less of a fan) about Gerard if you don't send this other one.
and so on, and so on...

After I sent the mass message (and even before), I've responded to forwards, asking for them to stop being sent my way.

And still nothing. There are a few people who I've noticed who STILL send me forwards.

IT IS CROWDING MY INBOX AND DROWNING OUT ACTUAL MESSAGES OF IMPORTANCE THAT PEOPLE SEND ME HERE.

It's annoying.

If I have to ask you multiple times, and you still insist on sending them to me, I WILL BLOCK YOU.

Show me some respect, and I'll do the same for you. Otherwise, tough luck.

Call me mean/harsh/a bitch/a cunt/whatever all you want.
I am blunt, honest, and call it as it is.

Never Heard Of It I'll Change For Now.
       Another one of the better 'local bands' from L.A. These boys have definately made a name for themselves worldwide, and have done a fantastic job! Website | MySpace.

Pinata We Don't Believe (Demo).
       Once upon a time, Meegs (formerly of Coal Chamber) had another band called Pinata. This project continuously went through more lineup changes than I have ever seen. This particular demo song came from the brief period they had my friend Charles, who has one heck of a voice, on vocals. Unfortunately, Charles soon left to join Loser.

       Speaking of Charles... Once he left Pinata, he joined Loser-- a band put together by John 5 (formerly of Marilyn Manson). Charles was put on bass and backup vocals. Unfortunately, this band no longer exists, either. MySpace.

Trigger Point Seven.
       Yet another one of the better local L.A. bands, as well as some of my favorite friends. These kids definately know how to rock a live show. This is my favorite song by them so far. Website | MySpace.
